Simple cards are effective for showcasing key metrics or summary statistics in dashboards and reports.

Key Fields of a Simple Card

Measure:

Represents the quantitative value that you want to highlight. It is the sole data point displayed on the card. Centrally displayed on the card, often in a large font to ensure prominence. Provides a quick view of the measure, making it easy to monitor key metrics at a glance.

  • Measure: Total Sales Revenue, Average of Sales
  • Financial Metrics: Net Profit, Gross Margin, Sum of Expense
  • Performance Metrics: Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT), Website Traffic
  • Customer Metrics: Total Number of Customers
  • Dashboard Metrics
