A simple card chart is a minimalistic visual representation used to display a single quantitative measure. It presents the measure in a clean and easily readable format, typically using a large font to highlight the value prominently. Simple cards are effective for showcasing key metrics or summary statistics in dashboards and reports.
Key Fields of a Simple Card
Measure:
Represents the quantitative value that you want to highlight. It is the sole data point displayed on the card. Centrally displayed on the card, often in a large font to ensure prominence. Provides a quick view of the measure, making it easy to monitor key metrics at a glance.
- Measure: Total Sales Revenue, Average of Sales
- Financial Metrics: Net Profit, Gross Margin, Sum of Expense
- Performance Metrics: Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT), Website Traffic
- Customer Metrics: Total Number of Customers
- Dashboard Metrics
You can display a maximum of One Measure in your chart/table.
